Obituary of Carol Ann Davies

Carol Ann died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 in her 77th year, following a three month stay in South Lake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket.

Beloved wife of Richard for 57 years. Caring mother to Rick (Enza), Mark, Russell (Angela) and Weldon (Amy).

Devoted grandmother to Stefanie (Stefano), Adam (Emily), Michael (Emily), Sophie (Elijah), Christopher, Lucas (Marcy), Marcus, Christine, Ocynn, Sommer, Kayla, Jessica, William, Myla & Chance. Loving Great-Grandmother to Brody & Lucien.

Carol is survived by her sisters, Donna (Allan) and Sharon (Doug) and by her brother, Floyd (Carol). She is predeceased by her parents, Floyd and Beatty Steenburgh and by her sister Marjorie.

Carol was a lifelong member of the Free Methodist Church, supporter of the Gideon Bible society, loved to bake, crochet and socialize any chance she could. She found solace in her favourite place, Wesley Acres, surrounded by her dearest friends and family. We fondly and proudly remember her giving spirit, jovial attitude and love for Jesus.

A Memorial Service celebrating and remembering Carol's life will be held on Wednesday, August 19th, 2020 at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville.  

Currently we the Funeral Home is limited to 30% capacity.  All available seats for the service are filled by invited guests.  Serveral additional guests would be allowed at the cemetery, however, you must request to attend at the cemetery buy emailing

Inurnment will take place at Glenwood Cemetery, Picton following the service.
